SD Marketing is looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our development team. You'll work alongside our lead developer to build and maintain in-house productivity tools and platforms that power our agency, connecting data from marketing channels like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and more into the systems our creative and management teams rely on every day.

What You'll Work On
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js.
- Integrate in-house APIs with third-party marketing platforms like Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Search Console to power internal reporting and automation tools.
- Keep SDKs, libraries, and dependencies up to date across projects.




- Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries and manage database schemas.
- Collaborate through Git for version control (we use Bitbucket).
- Participate in code reviews and help improve our development workflows.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across backend services.

What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL .
- Experience integrating third-party marketing platform APIs and maintaining compatibility.
- Comfortable with Git for version control (bonus points for Bitbucket experience).
- Experience with NestJS is a strong plus.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor .
- Good communication skills in English.

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience with ORMs (Drizzle, TypeORM, Prisma, etc.).
- Interest in marketing, technology, and data-oriented applications.
