Junior Commercial Counsel

Location: Bogota, Colombia

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate client‑facing commercial agreements, including master service agreements, data licensing agreements, subscription agreements, order forms, and statements of work.
- Advise regional sales and business development teams on deal structure, contract risk, and commercial terms.
- Identify and escalate legal risks in commercial transactions, providing practical recommendations for resolution.
- Develop and maintain regional contract templates and playbooks to support self‑service and deal velocity.
- Manage contracts through Salesforce and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the general legal team on cross‑border transactions, compliance initiatives, and process improvements.
- Support other legal team projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
- Law degree from a recognized university; admitted to practice in Colombia.
- Two to three years of experience in commercial or transactional legal work,



either in‑house or at a law firm; technology, data, or SaaS experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial transactions across LATAM markets is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of data protection and privacy laws across key LATAM jurisdictions.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct business, draft, and negotiate contracts in both languages; proficiency in French is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
- Self‑starter who can manage a portfolio of deals with appropriate guidance while knowing when to escalate.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools; experience managing contracts in Salesforce is a plus.
- Experience in the data, research, or consumer insights industry.
