PROJECT ESTIMATOR

An Estimator will help in determining the cost of prospect jobs such as landscapes, maintenance repairs, properties, etc. They work closely with contractors, vendors, and team members to evaluate relative risks or potential delays, determining whether they can complete their project within the time frame, usually without going over budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to review and estimate costs on prospect jobs (properties, maintenance repairs, landscapes, etc.)
- Prepares and maintain status of plan reproduction
- Research the cost of materials, transport, labor, and equipment.
- High accuracy and attention detail
- Ability to breakdown landscape, civil drawings, specifications etc.
- Researches and assists with billing qAuestions, providing documentation for discrepancies/deficiencies
- Assists and problem solves with vendors

Qualifications:





- With at least 2 years of experience in a construction industry
- Preferably with experience using estimating softwares
- Familiarity with financial and project management principles
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems related to the duties of the job
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Has a strong analytical skills and good negotiation abilities
- Understanding of construction documents
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and other related documents
- Ability to coordinate and work independently

**Experience**:

- Project Estimator: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English and Spanish (required)
