**Position: Scheduler**

**Location: Medellin, Antioquia**

**Shift time: Monday to Friday 7:30AM - 4:00PM**

**Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Coordinate scheduling procedure with patient, physician schedules, hospital, and Ambulatory Centers
- Verifies patient’s history, medications, past procedures, and allergies.
- Obtains needed clearances (pulmonary, cardiology, neurology) as needed.
- Educates patient on the discontinuation of blood thinners as directed by managing doctor.
- Completes Boarding Forms and submits it to the appropriate surgical facility and to procedure verification.
- Determines whether an office visit is necessary before procedure.
- Completes Boarding Forms and submits it to the appropriate surgical facility.
- Answers patient questions
- Assists with other medical office needs,



including scheduling, and telephone inquiries.
- Adherence to all laws and regulations regarding employment, including HIPPA,
- Maintains strict confidentiality.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Advance english level
