We are looking to expand our team in LATAM. You will be working with people distributed across México and Spain.

**What You Need To Succeed**:
Minimum qualifications:
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, a related field OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis, experimentation and complex problem-solving. Experience working with product teams is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regression algorithms, metrics, and model evaluation applied to quantitative problems.
- Experience working with Python for data science: Numpy, pandas, sci-kit-learn, and related libraries.
- Experience with tabular machine learning libraries: xgboost, lightgbm, and similar.
- Working knowledge of data visualization libraries and tools.
- Working experience with Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, independent working style.
Preferred skills:
- Master's degree in data science, machine learning, and/or statistics.
- Working knowledge of R, or able to understand an R codebase and port features to Python.
- Experience building analytical products is strongly preferred.
- Able to work cross-functionally and influence business partners to set realistic goals and focus on data-driven solutions.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Conducts data analysis to get needed insights that drive product decisions.
- Designs, builds, and validates predictive models using machine learning to solve major challenges.
- Creates and refines algorithms to improve data processing, analysis, and model performance.
- Writes efficient code in languages such as Python, R,
and **.
- Suggests innovative solutions and optimizes machine learning engines to support company goals.
- Evaluates existing models' performance and implements improvements to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Designs and conducts experiments to test hypotheses and measure the impact of changes in product features.
- Puts smart efforts to contribute to the overall success of the product.
- Uses data science tools and platforms for data analysis, model building, and deployment.
- Solves difficult issues and supports the team with product incidents. Suggests and implements potential fixes.
- Interacts cross-functional with Customer Success, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers.
- Communicates complex data insights to non-technical audiences. Translates findings into actionable product strategies.
- Documents needed resources, such as educational purposes or group presentations.
- Stays abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, AI, etc.
