**Job Summary**
Our Process Analyst in a spare parts distribution center plays a crucial role in optimizing operations and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of spare parts distribution. To oversee, control and propose improvements to logístical processes with stakeholders throughout the operation by periodically reviewing and monitoring indicators that allow for identifying improvement opportunities while meeting standards and highlighting a competent operation for the region, reporting the results of each process to the Logistics Coordinator.
**Main Activities**:
- Process Analysis: Evaluating current distribution and logistics processes to identify areas for improvement. This may include process mapping, bottleneck identification, and workflow analysis.
- Process Design and Improvement: Based on the analysis, the analyst designs or redesigns processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and delivery times, and improve customer satisfaction. This may involve implementing new technologies or management systems.
- Implementation of Changes: Collaborating with other departments to implement process changes. This may include training staff on new procedures and monitoring the performance of updated processes.
- Data Management and Reporting: Collecting and analyzing data related to distribution processes. This includes tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), preparing performance reports, and making recommendations based on data analysis.
- Technology and Automation:
Evaluating and recommending technologies to automate processes and increase efficiency. This may include warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, and robotics and automation solutions.
- Inventory Management: Analyzing and optimizing inventory management to ensure an optimal balance between available stock and demand, thus reducing excess inventory and shortages.
- Compliance with Standards and Regulations: Ensuring that distribution processes comply with industry regulations and standards, including workplace safety and health.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and logistics, to ensure that distribution processes are aligned with company objectives.
- Project Management: Leading or participating in continuous improvement projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring that objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Customer and Supplier Relations: Interacting with customers and suppliers to understand their needs and expectations and ensuring that distribution processes are designed to efficiently meet them.
