**About the role**:

- As a **Deputy Compliance Officer**, you will be responsible to supporting the development and maintenance of a strong compliance framework, ensuring the SEDPE operates in line with regulatory requirements, particularly those from the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC), and complies with internal policies, AML, and CTF obligations.

**What you will do**:

- Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Compliance Management System.
- Monitor regulatory changes (financial, AML/CTF, data protection, etc.) and assess their impact on operations.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and support the development of mitigation strategies.
- Oversee transaction monitoring and escalation of suspicious activity reports (SARs) in coordination with the AML Officer.
- Support internal training initiatives on compliance, ethics, and conduct.
- Participate in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and ensure timely responses and remediations.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory reports, including those to the SFC, UIAF,



and other applicable authorities.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, operations, and technology teams to ensure compliance is embedded across functions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation and controls.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must demonstrate at least one hundred and fifty (150) hours of training in Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) risk management through specialization programs, courses, diploma programs, seminars, conferences, or any other similar educational activities
- At least 3-5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within a regulated financial entity or fintech.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies like SFC and UIAF (or local equivalents).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or local equivalents (nice to have).
