The Drafter will communicate with the clients. Initially, the Drafter will mainly be assisting the lead drafter and would then communicate with the clients.

**AutoCAD Drafter Responsibilities**:

- Receive project from Director of Sales, review and ensure necessary information has been received to complete the project.
- Participate in plan review meetings with clients when necessary.
- Meet with Director of Sales and Lead Drafter to discuss design options.
- Present preliminary design for client approval.
- Develop detailed plans and construction details based on the project requirements.
- Ensure product designs meet required safety and structural standards.
- Produce final CAD drawing sets following prescribed methods.
- Adjust and finalize existing Revit drawings initiated by Lead Drafter.
- Research and present information for city and county code requirements in new and existing areas of work
- Convert existing hand-drafted plans into Revit drawings
- 3D rendering skills through Revit is a plus

**AutoCAD Drafter Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Associates degree in related architectural, drafting, or engineering field.
- 2 years work experience as a CAD / Revit Drafter.
- Advanced knowledge of CAD and Revit software.
- Advanced knowledge of mathematics, architecture, and the building process.
- Knowledge of state safety and structure regulations.
- Excellent technical design skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of aesthetics, design,



and architectural detail.
- Ability to project manage.
- Good communication skills.
