**JOB TITLE**: Project Manager
**LOCATION**: Medellín, Colombia
**TYPE**: Full-Time
**SCHEDULE**: Hybrid - (3 days on-site / 2 days remote per week)
**DESCRIPTION**: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects and process improvement initiatives for one of our client companies, ensuring successful delivery within the allocated time and budget. This position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work in an agile environment, promoting Scrum practices to enhance team efficiency and flexibility. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders and the project team to define scope, objectives, and timelines, as well as oversee execution and mitigate risks.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Project Planning and Definition**:
o Develop detailed project plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
o Identify necessary resources and define KPIs to measure project success.
- **Project Management**:
o Oversee all project phases, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
o Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.
o Coordinate project team activities and tasks.
- **Team Leadership**:
o Manage and resolve conflicts effectively and constructively.
o Foster professional and personal development of the team, recognizing achievements.
- **Implementation of Agile Methodologies**:
o Implement and promote Agile and Scrum practices.
o Lead Scrum ceremonies and encourage continuous improvement.
- **Communication and Coordination**:
o Maintain constant communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates.
o Create and maintain project documentation.
- **Analysis and Reporting**:
o Evaluate project performance using defined KPIs.
o Prepare detailed reports and present results to senior management.
- **Change Management**:
o Evaluate and manage project changes, ensuring mínimal disruption.
o Quickly adapt to changes in project and business priorities.
- **Innovation and Process Improvement**:
o Propose and implement new technologies and practices to enhance efficiency.
o Perform benchmarking of industry best practices.
**Qualifications**:
**Required**:
- Bilingual, high proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience in the health and/or travel insurance industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive in proposing creative solutions.
- Ability to solve problems and develop solutions.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and recommended practices.
- Experience using Agile project management tools, such as JIRA.
- University degree in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
- Over 5 years of project management experience.
**Preferred**:
- Optional certifications such as PMP or Agile certifications.
- Specific experience in project management in the technology sector.
