Senior Regional Cyber Underwriter - Colombia
Role Purpose
The Senior Regional Cyber Underwriter supports the growth and development of Cyber insurance portfolios across Latin America by partnering closely with local Financial Lines underwriting teams.
The role provides technical underwriting support, structuring guidance, portfolio insight, and capability development to enable each country to grow its Cyber portfolio in line with the GRS framework, agreed risk appetite, and underwriting standards.
In addition, the role will actively underwrite Cyber risks and contribute directly to portfolio growth, supporting new and renewal business alongside local teams, particularly on complex, strategic, or cross‑border accounts.
The position acts as a regional enabler and subject‑matter resource, strengthening consistency, discipline, and technical excellence across the LATAM Financial Lines platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of the annual Cyber business plan for Latin America,



ensuring alignment with GRS and LSM strategic objectives and risk tolerances
- Actively support the Cyber portfolio in the region, balancing growth, profitability, aggregation control, and long‑term sustainability
- Identify market opportunities, emerging cyber risks, and regional trends to support product development and portfolio optimization
- Act as a thought partner to regional and integral leadership by contributing ideas, insights, and best practices in Cyber underwriting
- Underwrite Cyber risks in accordance with underwriting guidelines, delegated authority, and reinsurance requirements
- Independently negotiate rates, terms, conditions, and coverage structures for new and renewal business
- Apply strong judgment on coverage, wordings, limits, retentions, and exposure management, including complex or non‑standard risks
- Ensure contract certainty and accurate, timely issuance of underwriting documentation
- Maintain high‑quality underwriting files and ens
