Regional Health, Safety and Mental Wellbeing Leader
The purpose of this role is to oversee the implementation of an effective health, safety and mental wellbeing management system to ensure compliance across local H&S; regulations. This is a great opportunity to establish, develop and lead a management system with a continual improvement strategy. The role offers flexibility of a hybrid workstyle with travel to workplaces as required to fulfil activities.

What the day will look like

Implement programs and initiatives to maintain a health, safety and mental wellbeing service, in compliance with local requirements.
Overseeing and collaborating with other members of the Health, Safety and Mental Wellbeing team to ensure effective delivery of health, safety and mental wellbeing services.
Monitor risk registers, ensuring risk assessments are carried out,



reviewing when required and ensuring appropriate actions are identified and closed.
Ensure Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committees are established where required, attending when appropriate.
Collaborate with colleagues in other functions such as Facilities Management, IT, Security and other contractors to deliver a safe working environment.
Provide guidance, advice and awareness sessions to people managers, contractors and colleagues on health, safety and wellbeing related issues.
Design and deliver effective communications to engage colleagues in health, safety and wellbeing.
Develop and deliver training and awareness programmes for colleagues with specific health, and safety and wellbeing roles.
Audit contractor performance as required, review RAMS and authorise work as appropriate.
Audit against ISO 45001, assigning actions when appropriate and ensuring actions are closed.
