The Job:
The Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales organization in Colombia developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets. This role manages the sales team, key account relationships, and distribution channels, ensuring alignment with the company’s commercial objectives. The Sales Director collaborates closely with marketing, e-commerce, supply chain, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
Establish a Winning Sales Strategy
- Know the Company’s IBP and set concrete plans to meet it.
- Build strong relationships with core customers by fostering direct communication channels with General Managers per customer
- Implement and deploy the sales monitoring methodology designed by the company.
Effective Business Planning
- Distribute the management of the teams guaranteeing coverage of their territories.
- Regularly monitor KPIs to track the progress of business plans.
- Coordinates with Marketing, Ecommerce and Supply to give visibility to sales plans and delivery needs
Channel and Customer Knowledge
- Owns and manages all channel’s annual plan (OP/Forecast/IBP) to identify deviations and make adjustments.
- Analyze the margin by channel and customer looking for a balance between sales and profitability.
- Owns the strategy to improve the sell-out of SBD customers and partner with the Marketing team to develop them.
- Has deep knowledge in SBD’s portfolio and products.
