In this role, you will participate in the development and supportof highly visible systems related to policy rating, issuance, andpremium generation. You must be able to work independently on thedesign, development, and implementation of complex applications whileproviding guidance to other staff members.

What You'll Do




- Understand and translate business and functional requestsinto program applications.
- Participate on project teams and effectively interact withbusiness partners, vendor partners, Architects, and QualityAssurance specialists.
- Design, code, test, and implement application program codefor both new and existing applications.
- Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases for unit,integration, and system testing.
- Produce concise and accurate documentation for projects andensure compliance with all Chubb standards.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions to recommend themost efficient and cost-effective designs.
- Take the lead on assignments and mentor or provide guidanceto other staff members.
- Participate in on-call production support and monitor theoperational health and performance of production systems.
- Escalate issues following procedures to minimize systemdowntime.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems
