At Hatch Medellín, we’re looking for a highly motivated Controls & Automation Engineer to join our PDG team.




Responsibilities / About the Role:
- Provide input for project cost estimates, schedules, and progress reporting.
- Prepare all technical documentation required for project execution.
- Develop data sheets, instrument indexes, and perform instrument sizing in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Perform sizing calculations for flow meters and control valves.
- Develop instrument Material Requisition (MR) packages, perform bid evaluations, and select instruments.
- Provide input to the 3D model and participate in model reviews.
- Develop control philosophies and control narratives.
- Generate shutdown keys and cause and effects.
- Designing network architectures and IT systems.
- Review and comment vendor documentation and drawings to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
- Specify, select, configure, and program control systems such as PLCs/DCSs, or other automation
