Software Engineer (Akka) at BairesDev
As a Software Engineer specializing in Akka, you will build concurrent and distributed systems using the actor model to ensure high scalability and resilience. You will design message‑driven architectures that handle complex distributed state while maintaining a high degree of system elasticity.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement highly concurrent, distributed applications using Akka and Scala.




- Develop message‑driven architectures based on the actor model to ensure system isolation and responsiveness.
- Build resilient and self‑healing systems by implementing robust supervision and fault‑tolerance strategies.
- Optimize distributed systems for high throughput and low latency across JVM‑based environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define actor hierarchies and reactive system standards.
- Ensure the stability and performance of elastic architectures through effective cluster management and monitoring.

What We Are Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on concurrent and distributed systems.
- Proven expertise in building resilient and elastic architectures using Akka and the actor model.
- Advanced proficiency in Scala and functional programming principles.
