Academic training
- Professional in accounting or related careers
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in the financial and accounting area.
Principal functions
- Supervise and monitor the productivity and workload distribution of the accounting team.
- Record and review journal entries.
- Lead the preparation of monthly account reconciliations and financial statement variance analysis.
- Collaborate with internal personnel to resolve accounting issues and eliminate discrepancies.
- Manage all aspects of team leadership, including interviewing, hiring, training,
performance evaluation, and coaching.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with current accounting regulations, policies, and standards.
- Oversee the accounting process for each accounting closing period and centralize accounting information for the preparation of financial statements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting regulations and norms.
- Guarantee the accuracy and monitoring of accruals and other key accounting processes.
