Job Description
Position Summary:

The Epic Cache/IRISDBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Epic Caché/IRISdatabase environment within a pediatric healthcare setting.



This role ensuresthe performance, reliability, and availability of critical Epic applications tosupport patient care and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

DatabaseAdministration:
- Install,configure, and maintain Epic Caché/IRIS databases to ensure optimalperformance and reliability.
- Monitordatabase health, including backups, indexing, and storage utilization.
- Managedatabase upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in collaboration with Epic andIT teams.
- Assist withEnterprise Microsoft SQL support as needed.

PerformanceMonitoring and Tuning:
- Analyze andresolve database performance issues, including query optimization andresource allocation.
- Implementproactive measures to maintain high availability and minimize downtime.

SystemIntegration and Collaboration:
- Work closelywith the Epic application and infrastructure teams to supportintegrations and system interoperability.
