We are looking for a highly organized Email Content Author to join our digital team. You will be responsible for building and publishing emails using Umbraco CMS, working from templated scaffolds to produce polished, on-brand email campaigns.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take templated and scaffolded email layouts in a CMS and populate, reorder, and tweak to suit each campaign’s structure.
- Maintain a clean and structured CMS across multiple instances for different business units. Keep each instance organized and up to date.
- Push email content through multiple environments (dev, qa, production). Follow established promotion workflows and ensure correct versioning for each instance.
- Diagnose and resolve rendering issues, rendering bugs, and data issues.
- Handle 3–5 concurrent email projects adhering to strict deadlines while still being detail-oriented and organized.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3-5 years of proven experience publishing in a CMS environment.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS email development.
- Experience managing and understanding document types, data types, and content structures within Umbraco CMS or any CMS.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Salesforce).
- Figma experience to manipulate and export assets and to replicate pixel perfect designs.
- Stay current with email industry trends, accessibility standards (WCAG), and evolving client rendering environments.
- Experience with Workfront/Jira is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and CMS instances simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Hands‑on QA experience to perform rigorous testing and debugging using Litmus and/or Email on Acid (nice to have).
