Founding AI Engineer (Full-Stack) — Yield IQ
Remote (_Colombia or Mexico_) - Full-time - $75,000-$85,000 USD/year (COP 276,375,000 - COP 313,225,000 per year)

Be the first engineer at Yield IQ and build our product from zero. We’re creating the valuation and sales engine for real estate agents, and we need one exceptional full-stack engineer to build the whole thing — backend, frontend, data pipelines, and the AI layer — and own it as we grow.

This is a hands-on role for a doer, not a manager. You’ll write the code, run it, and own it, working directly with the founder to turn product vision into shipped software.

What you’ll do
- Build the entire platform end to end: backend, APIs, frontend, data, and AI.
- Design data pipelines that gather, clean, and combine property data from MLS feeds, public records, and third-party valuation APIs.
- Integrate LLMs and AI tooling to power valuation and sales features.
- Own the infrastructure: databases, hosting, deployment, monitoring.
- Partner closely with the founder and give honest input on what to build and how.





What we’re looking for
- 5+ years shipping production software.
- True full-stack: strong backend and frontend, able to own an app solo.
- Deep API experience and integrating data from multiple third-party sources.
- Data engineering: reliable pipelines, SQL/NoSQL, messy real-world data.
- Hands-on with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI); RAG or agents a plus.
- Modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue).
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Self-directed, and a great listener who can take direction from a non-technical founder.
- Comfortable English communication.

Nice to have: proptech/fintech experience, vector databases, prior founding-engineer experience.
