At Thales we're looking for a curious, driven engineering graduate eager to learn how SIM and eUICC technologies work behind the scenes — and how international telecom standards shape the mobile ecosystem used by millions of people every day to join our team as an OEM eTC Trainee in Bogotá.

Responsibilities
- Translate those standards into technical specs using Thales proprietary tools.




- Support end-to-end BAP project lifecycles alongside senior technical consultants.
- Perform SIM/eUICC assessments, testing, and issue resolution.
- Contribute to training materials, prototypes, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with customers and teams across the Americas.

What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent Spanish + English (B2 minimum — you'll work with general teams).
- Basic knowledge of Java, C++, HTML, or XML.
- Some understanding of GSM and/or UMTS networks.
- Genuine curiosity about Smartcards, Embedded Software, or Telecom.

No prior professional experience required. We're looking for motivation, a learning mindset, and someone who gets excited about how technology actually works.
