- This position is located in Bogota, under the Supply Chain Management Section of the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVMC). The Warehouse Assistant at this level reports to the Chief Centralized Warehouse Team, and/or Centralized Warehouse Officer. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring workplace safety, preparing reports and Updating Umoja. Duties & Responsibilities - Assist in storage control,



Movement and receipts of inventory - Match physical quantities against receipt/release documents and ensure that inventory records match physical inventory - Update and track inventory files and shipping documents, ensure proper filing routines - Control that the stacking of items is appropriate and safe - Check the completeness of documents, handling and filing routines, in the storage area and in the warehouse office (receipt, signatures, updating, etc.) - Ensure the correctness of documents, such as Incoming/Outgoing Shipment reports and follow up on pending purchase order. - Report inventory discrepancies - Security and safety checks - Assist in the production of the weekly/monthly Stock Reports with relevant stakeholders in the office as per the office instructions/procedures. - Undertake quarterly physical verification exercise of inventory counting and controlling. - Updates all physical verification records and data entry in Umoja. - Maintains daily accurate and auditable property records in the electronic inventory management system for pr
