Job Description:




AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in Hyperscale Data Centers to act as Data Center Electrical Engineer Lead. The job incumbent will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems in large scale data centers. This position is based in Bogotá, with occasional site visits as needed throughout Latin America.

Responsibilities:
Preference will be given to those who have Data Center Design and Construction experience.

+ Design and implement electrical systems for hyperscale data centers, including power distribution, backup power systems, and emergency systems.

+ Develop and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including National Electric Code (NEC) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.

+ Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to develop specifications, design criteria, and project budgets.
