We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale a core Transportation Management System (TMS) that serves carriers, shippers, and brokers across the freight industry. This role offers the opportunity to work across the stack and contribute to high-impact products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

- Build and enhance a TMS platform supporting a wide network across the freight ecosystem
- Develop and expand products such as cost solutions, shipper applications, and scalable APIs
- Contribute to front-end applications (React/Redux), back-end services (Ruby, Python, Go, or Node.js), or both
- Integrate with freight APIs, automated brokerage systems, and external data providers
- Support continuous deployment, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting practices
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver impactful solutions
- Participate in retrospectives and post-mortems to continuously improve systems and processes
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of learning and technical excellence




- Leverage AI tools to optimize development workflows and productivity

What We’re Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in software engineering within web-based environments
- Strong experience with at least one back-end language (Ruby, Python, Go, or Node.js)
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React preferred)
- Ability to write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Experience with automated testing (unit and end-to-end) and monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality products
