Audubon is currently seeking a IT System Administrator to join our team in our Bogotá, Colombia Office. The idóneo candidate will maintains the organization’s Windows-based hybrid infrastructure, combining Azure cloud services with on-premises servers. Responsibilities include ensuring system stability, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, configuring and maintaining Azure resources, managing Windows servers, applying patches and updates, and documenting processes and incident resolutions. This role also follows established security and compliance standards to support a reliable and secure environment.

Primary Responsibilities

- Maintain, configure, and ensure the reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments.
- Manage and monitor virtual servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular backup operations and implement data protection and disaster recovery strategies.
- Support and maintain LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, and intranet systems.
- Optimize system efficiency and evaluate overall network performance.
- Ensure network integrity and enforce system security protocols.
- Oversee authentication, authorization,



and directory services configuration.
- Maintain and support critical network servers, including file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware and software components.
- Deploy software updates, apply security patches, and manage system upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain the security and integrity of systems in accordance with ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies.

Experience and Skill Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in a technology related degree.
- 5+ years related experience (we are seeking senior levels).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Servers, Exchange, Office 365, and Systems Deployment and Management Platforms.
- Proficient with Active Directory management and configuration.
- Experience with networking concepts and technologies, including VLANs, routing, subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and switch/router configuration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to provide 24x7 support as needed.
