Position Title

Senior Security Analyst (Location: LATAM)

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with hands‑on experience in threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents across the organization’s infrastructure. The idóneo candidate has a solid foundation in network security, system analysis, and modern defensive tools,



combined with a proactive mindset toward evolving cyber threats.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a similar role
- Strong experience with:
- SIEM platforms (e.g., ELK stack or similar)
- IDS/IPS technologies
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools
- Antivirus and content filtering solutions
- Network and host‑based firewalls
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools

- Strong experience in:

- Incident Response methodologies
- Log analysis and correlation
- PCAP/network traffic analysis

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals:

- OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP

- Working knowledge of common attack techniques:

- Phishing, port scanning, DDoS, lateral movement, and web application attacks

- Working knowledge investigating Windows and/or Linux systems for compromise indicators

Nice to Have

- Relevant certifications such as:
- GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)
