Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement Cisco networking devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls, to create a reliable and scalable network infrastructure that aligns with organizational goals and requirements.
- Network Management:Oversee the day-to-day operation of the network, including configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network devices and connections to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime.
- Wi-Fi Configuration & Management: Deploy, configure,
and maintain wireless network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance across various devices and locations.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:Identify and resolve network-related issues, from routing and switching to wireless connectivity, quickly and efficiently to minimize network downtime and disruptions to operations.
- Security & Compliance:Implement and manage network security policies and technologies, such as firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding against external and internal threats.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on managing Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and wireless access points.
