Overview

We are seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join our team as an ODA Specialist. This role will contribute to the successful implementation of ODA infrastructure projects in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and strengthen collaboration between LAC countries and the Republic of Korea. The KEXIM Bogotá Office oversees ODA infrastructure projects and financial operations across Colombia, Bolivia, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and other partner LAC countries. The Export‑Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) is an Export Credit Agency headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. KEXIM’s core mandate is to provide financial support for Korean companies’ export and import activities, fostering sustainable economic growth through Official Development Assistance (ODA) to partner countries.



The Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) is KEXIM’s ODA loan facility, providing direct financial support to partner governments for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

- Providing Spanish‑English consecutive interpretation during meetings and drafting meeting notes.
- Coordinating meetings, events, and business trips, maintaining strong relationships with existing partners and establishing new connections.
- Analyzing current affairs in Latin America, summarizing and providing analysis upon request.
- Reviewing project documents (Minutes of Discussion, Loan Agreements, Project Reports) and offering relevant analysis.
- Monitoring EDCF projects, maintaining close contact with government focal points, and providing project updates.
