We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Designer with a strong background in graphic design to join the Tongo Financial Inc. team.
Unlike a traditional UX role, this position focuses heavily on Graphic Design and Visual Identity across our marketing and web assets. You will partner closely with our Product and Marketing teams to ensure our brand looks polished and professional. While you won’t be solely responsible for complex UX architecture, experience working with Product teams and a solid understanding of UI/UX principles for web assets is essential to ensure our designs are not just beautiful, but functional.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Design (Primary Focus)
- Ensure rigorous consistency of our brand identity across all digital and print touchpoints.
- Collaborate with the Growth/Marketing team to produce high-converting assets that tell a compelling story.
- (Bonus) Create custom illustrations or visual elements to enhance the brand personality.
Web & Product Support
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers.
You don’t need to be a UX specialist, but you should understand how your designs translate into a user-friendly interface.
- Maintain and organize Figma libraries to ensure assets are easily accessible for cross-functional teams.
Collaboration & Process
- Work within internal deadlines and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders in the organization.
- Bridge the gap between pure graphic design and product implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional design experience.
- In-House Requirement:Must have at least 1+ years of experience working as a full-time employee inside a company (agency or corporate). _Note: We value the ability to manage internal stakeholders and workflows that comes with in-house experience over exclusive freelance work._
- Strong Graphic Design Core: impeccable eye for typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
