Position Summary

Inside Sales/BDR (B2B – SaaS) reports to the Business Development Team Lead and works with a team of Business Development Executives and Representatives. The role focuses on building targeted outreach, qualifying inbound leads, and developing new accounts in the insurance and wealth sectors.

Responsibilities

- Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, social media, networking, industry events, and ABM.
- Conduct research to identify target accounts, leads, decision‑makers, and understand their needs.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to craft and execute lead‑generation strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospects, educating them on Equisoft solutions.
- Follow up on inbound inquiries promptly and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
- Pass qualified leads to the sales team and schedule meetings/demos.
- Monitor market trends, news, and customer feedback to uncover new opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and quotes.
- Maintain and update customer data within the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation activities and outcomes.
- Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- 6‑8 years of B2B technology sales or relationship‑building experience, preferably in insurance.
- Experience in SaaS sales and understanding of industry best practices.
- Proven ability to engage C‑suite/executive level prospects.
- Track record of exceeding KPIs and sales targets.




- Strong grasp of sales metrics and performance analysis.
- Result‑oriented, self‑motivated, with excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to conferences in the US and Canada.
- Knowledge of Account Based Management (ABM).
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).

- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Highly motivated, target‑driven and organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable communicating via email and phone.
- Strong sense of organization, prioritization, and teamwork.
- Tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline.

Nice to Have

- Experience with HubSpot or other CRM platforms.
- Background in the insurance and financial industry.
- Knowledge of AI tools and certifications.
- Spanish (spoken and written).
