About the Role
Are you a creative and results-driven video editor who thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first environment? We’re hiring a Video Content Specialist to lead production for the _Business Is F’n Hard_ podcast and develop short-form video content for a growing portfolio of online businesses.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of video creation from start to finish — managing podcast workflows, editing compelling clips, publishing to multiple platforms, and optimizing performance. This is a high-impact position with room to grow, idóneo for someone who understands social video trends and knows how to make content pop.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full podcast production, including guest coordination, editing, uploading, and promotional assets
- Edit and post 1 short-form video per day for each business in the portfolio
- Work closely with content teams to transform raw footage into polished, platform-ready content
- Publish across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and podcast platforms
- Assist in running paid promotions and optimizing for audience reach and engagement
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- 5+ engaging video clips published weekly per business
- 100% on-time delivery of podcast episodes
- Total monthly video views across platforms exceed 100,000
- Weekly reporting on video performance and engagement trends
- Ongoing improvement in cost per view and viewer retention
- Proficient in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
- Strong understanding of video trends and platform-specific content strategies
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Experience in podcast production is a plus
- Self-motivated with a passion for creative storytelling
