PURPOSE:
FUNCTIONS:
- Creating and drafting detailed design drawings: Use CAD software to create 2D or 3D drawings and schematics for telecommunications projects.
- Collaborating with Project Managers and Engineers: Work closely with a team of project managers, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Modifying Designs: Modify existing designs and correct any errors to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and code compliance.
- Quality Assurance - Quality Control (QA-QC): Ensure all drawings and designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Documenting Specifications: Draft technical specifications, templates, details, and blocks in AutoCAD.
- Adhere to all federal, state, local, and company safety requirements.
- Domestic and International travel as required.
- Perform other CAD Drafting duties as required and assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position works in a standard office environment and in the field. Standing, sitting, driving and walking required daily.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture or a technical degree in AutoCAD or Revit.
- 3-5 years of CAD Drafting experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, including the creation of photo simulations for visual presentations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with wireless telecommunications.
- Technical communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Self-driven with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a group, utilizing resources as required to complete drafting tasks successfully.
