Civil Works Design Coordinator – Bogotá, Colombia

This role serves as the lead civil engineering engineer on medium to large projects, providing technical expertise, quality control reviews, budget and schedule estimates, and presenting solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

- Act as the lead engineer on medium to large projects.
- Provide specialized technical input for studies and designs in your area of expertise.
- Approve and sign off on engineering work.
- Offer technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
- Present complex technical solutions to clients.
- Conduct quality control reviews of work developed by others.
- Participate in the development of technical proposals.
- Provide budget and schedule estimates to meet project requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Eight (8) years of experience or equivalent education and experience.





Preferred Skills and Experience

- Professional in Civil Engineering or related disciplines with postgraduate studies.
- 12 years of general experience.
- Availability to work in Latin America.
- Experience leading or coordinating studies and detailed design of engineering projects in transport infrastructure, or PMO for studies and detailed designs of transport infrastructure engineering projects.
- Experience conducting studies and detailed designs for metro-type projects with underground lines, and in leading or coordinating the PMO of contracts for such projects.
