Position: Tier 2 NOC Engineer

Work Modality: Hybrid (primarily remote, with occasional on-site presence)

Location: Barranquilla, Colombia

At LinkAmerica, we are looking for a proactive and analytical Bilingual Tier 2 NOC Engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional technical support. If you have strong networking knowledge, a customer-focused mindset, and enjoy solving complex problems, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

- Provide advanced technical support for voice and data services (wireline and wireless).
- Diagnose and resolve incidents in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Coordinate on-site engineers and provide support during technical interventions.
- Monitor networks and analyze alarms or service interruptions.
- Escalate incidents to Tier 3 when necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotating shifts.

Required Profile

- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in technical support within NOC environments (Tier 2 or Tier 3).




- CCNA or CCNP certification (or equivalent experience).
- Solid knowledge of data networks, protocols, and equipment configuration.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and monitoring tools.

Educational Background

- Technician, technologist, or professional in Systems Engineering, Networking, Electronics, or related fields.
- Ongoing education in networking and telecommunications is highly valued.
