Sys Admin is responsible for managing a group to achieve the maintenance, configuration, issue solving and reliable operation of computer systems and servers to limit work disruptions within the company. He/She will do active research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs.

Main Responsibilities

- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and network servers such as storage and database.
- Lead Installation and upgrading of computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Ensure new IT components are compatible with the current IT infrastructure.
- Lead troubleshooting for hardware and software, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Monitor system health and identify anomalous network behavior, which may include security-sensitive activities such as unauthorized network access and data transfer.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Lead regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Assure helpdesk support efforts are being performed by his/her IT Team.




- Deliver Status Report to management in written and verbal manner.
- Manage technicals providers relationships to assure correct Service Operation.
- Familiar with AWS/Azure Infrastructure in terms of costs, tech providers leaders, performance, scalability
- Provide L1 support to both the end user and internal customers.
- Escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 2 and 3 support team members when needed.

- 4+ years of experience
- Direct experience and/or knowledge of the following technologies:
- Vmware
- Linux architecture RPM and DEB
- HA Proxy
- Postfix
- Asterisk
- LDAP
- Jabber
- Storage (NFS, NAS/SAN)
- Networking
- Switching
- Routing
- Firewalls
- High availability
- Disaster Recovery
- DevOps (ansible)
- Configuration Management
- AWS
- Great adaptability to change.
- Experience to troubleshoot and diagnosing IT issues.
- Good understanding of Networking concepts, including Firewall, IP routing, DNS, VPN’s, SAN, NAS, NFS, etc.
- Experience with Bash, Batch, PowerShell scripting.
