Job Description
As a Bid Specialist you will work together with the solution consultant and sales team to create and activate the bidding strategy on each opportunity to win and win projects.
Responsibilities
- You will develop and create proposals for automation solutions.
- You will evaluate customer RFQ's to create advantageous position for Rockwell Automation
- You eill discover and understands customer's primary goals, operations, challenges and requirements.
- You will align and applie the entire scope of Rockwell products, solutions and services to meet the customer's needs.
- You will validate and endorse the technical aspects of the solution offered in the bid.
- You will provide technical support to sales group,
participates in site visits and technical discussions with customer/consultants.
- You will achieve validation of technical aspects of the solution offered in the bid.
- You will build request for approvals on bids following established approval process
- You will work with partners to obtain competitive pricing by 3rd party suppliers.
- You will work with the Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure correct estimation for time and resources required for projects
- You may contribute to customer negotiations during bidding phase
- You will manage bid/proposals
