We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of specialized HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) services within Colombia’s hydrocarbons, oil & gas, and energy sectors. This role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with industrial plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, terminals, EPC contractors, and other key players in the energy industry.

The position focuses on opening and developing strategic accounts, promoting specialized HSE solutions, and building long‑term commercial relationships with clients. The successful candidate will manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and presentations to negotiation, contract closure, and post‑sales support.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercialize HSE services such as industrial safety, environmental solutions, occupational health, regulatory compliance, HSE consulting, industrial risk management, training, certifications, and specialized plant services.
- Identify relevant projects and tenders and coordinate technical‑commercial proposals.
- Conduct plant visits and assess client needs.




- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Monitor market trends and HSE regulations in Colombia to inform strategy.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant commercial experience in HSE, Oil & Gas, hydrocarbons, energy, or industrial technical services.
- Proven B2B sales experience in industrial services.
- Direct experience with industrial plants, refineries, or hydrocarbons operations.
- Strong strategic account development experience.
- Knowledge of Colombia’s energy and hydrocarbons market.
- Experience negotiating contracts, tenders, and service agreements.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations, industrial safety, and environmental compliance.
- Familiarity with upstream, midstream, or downstream operations preferred.
- CRM and pipeline management experience.
