Maintenance Apprentice
Huntsman is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to support the senior management team at Polyurethanes (PU) Colombia Cartagena Mfg, located in Cartagena. This position will report to Jairo Mendoza (PU Maintenance Supervisor)
Scope of Work
- Support the execution of maintenance and repair tasks to maintain the corporate standards required worldwide.
- Support the execution of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
- Provide technical assistance in the event of any incidents that may arise at the plant (power outages, water supply failures, etc.).
- Alert the plant to any needs for spare parts/services/consumables.
- Support production and logistics tasks when required, provided that the activity is within the scope of your knowledge and training.
- Comply with safety and environmental protection standards (EHS). Ensure compliance with programs, procedures, and the completion of associated records within the team.
- Make proper use of the items and equipment assigned to carry out operations.
- Properly and consistently use the personal protective equipment (PPE) required in the work area and in accordance with the activity being performed.
