Senior Backend Developer

Guatemala City, Guatemala, in office
What you will be doing
- Take ownership of an existing C# and NET code base, ramp quickly, build a strong understanding of how it works, and improve structure, clarity, and maintainability over time
- Create, update, and manage comprehensive technical documentation including system configurations, integration specifications, data flows, process diagrams, user guides, and standard operating procedures for RDS, PCS,



and related platforms.
- Create clear technical documentation for the code base, and explain how it works in a way other team members and leaders can understand
- Maintain and improve existing integrations, with the primary integration surface being the Dispatch Science API
- Support integration work that does not use the Dispatch Science API, which was described as more SQL based, including pulling from a data warehouse when needed
- Work in a model where there is limited broad stakeholder interaction
- Track and communicate progress using lightweight project tracking methods that were described as tools like Trello or OneNote, rather than a formal ticketing workflow
- Contribute to maintaining and improving existing automation and integration projects, with automation of reporting mentioned as an example of the type of work the team expects to maintain and improve
