Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Security (Infosec) Senior Engineer based in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia, with flexibility for partial remote work. The Infosec Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of security protocols, performing threat analysis, monitoring and responding to security incidents, and ensuring ongoing compliance with industry security standards. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote security best practices and improve system resilience.

Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Security Engineering, Threat Analysis, and Incident Response
- Strong knowledge of Security Compliance standards and Risk Management
- Experience with Security Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment,



and Threat Mitigation
- Proficiency in Secure System Design, Configuration, and Penetration Testing
- Proven ability to conduct Security Audits and implement Remediation Plans
- Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable
- Experience in cloud-based security, data privacy regulations, and modern encryption mechanisms is a plus
