About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Legal Filing Specialist
with strong experience in
Workers’ Compensation e-filing
, specifically within California’s
EAMS (Electronic Adjudication Management System)
.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting legal filings with precision and compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all filings meet strict formatting, procedural, and deadline requirements—helping keep cases moving efficiently.

This position is adecuado for candidates with hands-on
EAMS experience
who thrive in high-volume, process-driven legal environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit legal documents through
EAMS
- Complete and file required
Workers’ Compensation forms
(Application for Adjudication, DOR, Compromise & Release, Stipulations, etc.)
- Ensure all filings comply with
California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC)
rules and formatting standards
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness,



and proper form population prior to submission
- Track and manage filing deadlines based on case activity and hearing schedules
- Monitor filing confirmations and proactively resolve rejections or errors
- Maintain organized digital records of filings, correspondence, and case documents
- Coordinate with attorneys, hearing representatives, and internal staff to ensure timely submissions
- Support administrative workflows related to legal filings and case progression

Qualifications

✔ Hands-on experience with
EAMS (required)

✔ Prior experience in
Workers’ Compensation legal support or e-filing

✔ Strong understanding of
Workers’ Compensation procedures, timelines, and documentation

✔ High attention to detail with the ability to catch formatting and compliance issues

✔ Experience reviewing and preparing legal documents for filing

✔ Proficiency in
Adobe Acrobat / PDF editing tools

✔ Strong written Eng
