The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and development of the ServiceNow platform to support IT and business processes. This role focuses on day-to-day platform support, configuration of ITSM and platform capabilities, development of catalog items and workflows, and maintenance of knowledge bases and portals.

The role partners closely with senior developers, platform leads, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly ServiceNow solutions while adhering to platform best practices and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Configuration

o Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user management, roles, groups, and access controls.

o Configure and support core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge.

o Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades support, and health checks to ensure platform stability and performance.

• Catalog & Workflow Development





o Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, record producers, workflows, and Flow Designer flows to automate business processes.

o Configure forms, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and notifications to meet functional requirements.

o Support enhancements to employee-facing portals, including Employee Center and Service Portal components.

• Knowledge & Content Management

o Configure and maintain Knowledge Bases, categories, workflows, and article templates.

o Support knowledge lifecycle processes including creation, review, publishing, and retirement.

• Development & Scripting

o Develop and support custom functionality using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting patterns.

o Assist with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and data imports under guidance from senior developers.
