This role oversees Paid Search, Organic Search, and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), driving innovation, commercial performance, and AI-powered search transformation across agencies and clients.




The role is responsible for positioning brands to succeed in an evolving search landscape shaped by LLMs and generative engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the regional Total Search strategy across Paid Search, SEO, and GEO, ensuring strong commercial performance, product adoption, and operational excellence.Drive growth opportunities, client engagement, and strategic pitches, acting as the senior search leader for key regional opportunities.Build integrated search solutions that connect media, commerce, content, and AI-driven discovery strategies.Develop market-leading GEO capabilities to improve brand visibility, authority, and recommendation rates across generative engines.Establish best practices, governance, automation, and training programs to scale high-quality delivery across LATAM markets.Provide thought leadership on the future of search and AI, representing WPP Media with clients, partners, and industry forums.Lead, coach, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary team.
