Purpose
Leads the Global HR Technologies Applications and Development team.
The Lead is the principal application owner of all internally developed applications, and is responsible for development of new features and new applications for operational continuity and modernization.
They lead a team in ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Leads a development team of Java, .
NET, and Pega developers and drives a customer‐focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Invests in the team's technical and management skills to help them grow and develop as both engineers and leaders.
Is responsible for organizing the team in the most effective way possible, ensuring that roles are maintained to reflect required skill sets and arranging schedules to meet support requirements while minimizing negative impact on the team.
RUN and BUILD
Is the Application Owner for the application suite.
Responsible for ensuring that software is delivered in a way that meets the business expectations while adhering to budgets, schedules, and development standards.
Owns, maintains, supports, and enhances existing applications, including regular code reviews for release activities, production issue analysis, and root cause analysis for production outages and implementation issues.
Works with assigned solutions and platform architects to design solutions that meet requirements and minimize technical debt.
Acts as the primary contact for Global HR regarding the applications in their scope, working with the business to create end‐to‐end solutions that are modern, resilient, and cost‐effective.
Assists in reviewing and evaluating business initiatives, products, and projects,



and formulates insightful guidance and input to business leaders while providing effort estimates to achieve desired outcomes.
Partners with Project Managers to ensure delivery of initiatives in adherence to EDF and to achieve target outcomes.
GENERAL
Understands how the bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‐to‐day activities and decisions.
Creates an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with the bank's values, code of conduct, and policies, while ensuring adequate day‐to‐day business controls to meet obligations on operational, compliance, privacy, and conduct risk.
Builds a high‐performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive workplace and applying a coaching mindset, communicating vision, values, and business strategy, and managing succession and development planning.
Reporting Relationships
Primary Manager: Director, Architecture & Engineering, Global HR Technology; receives indirect direction from the Sr.
Solutions Architect.
Direct Reports: None.
Education / Experience / Other Information
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
6 to 10 years of development and team leadership experience.
2+ years of delivery experience on large‐scale programs and general products.
Specialized knowledge of PEGA systems (BPN) is an asset.
Expertise in Java and .
NET; knowledge of Power Apps and Power BI is valuable.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment where processes and procedures are consistently refined.
Strong capability to work with senior business leaders.
Strong verbal, written, and communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong people management skills and experience.
Working Conditions
Work in a standard office‐based environment; non‐standard hours are common.
