PurposeThe Cloud Engineer will work in the Modern Apps Platform Engineering team, creating platform components and services for enterprise use.Is this role right for you?

Autoscaler), Storage Services (Cloud Storage, Azure Storage Accounts, Managed Disks), and Relational Database Services (Cloud SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance).
At least 3+ years of hands‐on technical working experience using CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, etc.) for maintaining pipelines.At least 2+ years of hands‐on technical working experience with the Go programming language or any object‐oriented language.Hands‐on technical working knowledge of cloud security concepts.Hands‐on technical working experience providing L3 operational support on Azure and Google Cloud Platform services.B1 level English.Soft skillsProficiency in root cause analysis and problem solving in production support scenarios.PreferableAt least 3+ years of hands‐on technical working experience implementing Infrastructure as Code delivery pipelines using HashiCorp Terraform.At least 3+ years of hands‐on technical working experience using configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible or Chef.At least 5+ years of hands‐on technical working experience with Bash and/or PowerShell to develop automation and deployment utilities.Sound knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile Scrum/Kanban and Waterfall.Working ConditionsWhen required, non‐standard office working hours for scheduled implementations or while on rotational 24/7 on‐call support.LocationBogotá or Home‐Office.Hybrid Work ModelLI‐HybridCompany InformationScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogotá, Colombia.
