Account Payable SpecialistArea: Finance/Accounting; Department: SSC; Direct Reporting Line: Jessica Fontenot - AP Manager; Indirect/Second Reporting Line: none; Subsidiary/Country: SSC Bogota, Colombia; Location: BogotaPurpose & Overall Relevance for the OrganizationVantage Shared Services Center is the engine that designs, builds, and operates consistent Vantage end‐to‐end business services & solutions globally to drive the transformation to ONE VANTAGE.
SSC prioritizes executing transitions, process, and solution roadmaps, implementing one service framework, performance measurements, and SSC customer board.
The overarching goal is to move Vantage to a more consistent, standardized, and automated operating model with solid governance, architecture, and operating model.Key ResponsibilitiesHandling and posting of incoming invoices with 2 & 3 way matching, creation of vendor master data, collection of W9 forms, and maintenance of both manual and automated invoice processing.Maintaining banking information from vendors, performing fraud checks and confirming remittance information.Preparation and review of payment proposals for Vantage subsidiaries.Clarifying and reconciling differences on postings.Preparation of month‐end journal entries such as accruals and prepayments,



ensuring entries are recorded according to company policies and deadlines.Coordinating with other departments to obtain transaction information and researching unreconciled items.Preparation of external and internal audit requests.Creating and analyzing various reports under the area of responsibility, including regular reporting.Maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.Identifying improvement opportunities and supporting their implementation.Assisting ongoing projects for implementation of technology solutions.Assisting requests from partner finance departments.Issuing tax exemption forms, resale certificates, and ****s.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong finance acumen.Solid experience with Epicor, Microsoft Nav, BPCS, MP2 & Ivalua ERP systems.Experience in a shared service environment or similar is a plus.Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business environment is a must.Attention to detail, strong problem‐solving and analytical skills.Solid interpersonal skills, navigating easily within complex organizations, connecting with a variety of functions, audiences, management styles or cultures.Highly results driven and self‐motivated team player with compassion, integrity, trust and perseverance.Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to work in a team atmosphere along with confidence and the ability to make individual decisions.Ability to multitask.Required Education & ExperienceUniversity degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or business.3 to 5 years of relevant experience; Accounts Payable is a plus.Direct functional experience (Accounts Payable).
