As we expand globally, we are committed to making diversity, inclusion, and belonging a foundational part of not only our hiring practices but who we are as a company.Primary ResponsibilitiesDrafting and negotiating agreements with vendors, customers, partners, and consultantsLeading and assisting with data privacy program projects such as data mapping, DPIAs, and AI Ethics frameworkAdvising business units on strategic issues, new projects, and cutting-edge technologyDeveloping and maintaining client-facing data privacy publications and responding to inquiries from clients and individualsManaging the privacy by design process and documentationConducting vendor and partner privacy due diligence reviewsTracking new data privacy and security laws, court cases, and other developments globally (including US)



and communicating them internally and externallyResearching privacy issues and drafting memos as appropriateRequired Skills and QualificationsFluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above2-5 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm or in‐houseQualified Lawyer in ColombiaExcellent academic credentialsDeep knowledge of local and good knowledge of general privacy lawsExperience drafting and negotiating contractsExcellent legal research, analytical, writing, judgment, and decision-making skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsPreferred Skills and QualificationsExperience in GDPR and US data privacy lawsExperience in technology sectorsExperience developing data privacy programsExperience with local compliance programs (i.e. SAGRILAFT/PTEE)This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
