Job TitleDirectory Services Administrator - MedtronicResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage the company's Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID environmentsImplement and manage Group Policies (GPOs) to ensure compliance and securityEnsure system availability, capacity, and performance for IAM technologiesOwn logging, monitoring, and alerting standards, processes, and systemsMonitor and manage access controls, user permissions, and role‐based accessPlan and manage system upgrade and patching projects in collaboration with local and offshore teams and platform SMEsCommunicate with vendors to understand and research open issues, new versions, or changesExplore and build automation to enhance end‐user experienceDefine and develop policies and procedures for system operations to ensure consistency, reduce rework, and improve qualityEnsure directory services adhere to company security policies and best practicesProvide second‐ and third‐level support for directory services‐related issues, including on‐call support, support ticket management, and engagement with business teams as neededPerform root cause analysis of directory services outages and implement corrective actionsMaintain current, relevant industry knowledge to understand evolutions and advancements in the marketplaceCollaborate with IT teams to integrate directory services with other applications and systemsRequired Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree4+ years of IT Security or Identity & Access Management experience with good understanding of principles, policies, and best practicesExperience with support, operations,



and management of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra IDExperience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automationExperience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and Windows Server operating systemsFamiliarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and logging and monitoring tools such as SplunkNice to HaveExperience with project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Scrum)Knowledge of cloud directory services like AWS and Google Cloud DirectoryKnowledge of enterprise IAM solutions such as Sailpoint, Okta, etc.Familiarity with advanced security features and configurations such as Conditional Access policies in Azure Entra IDKnowledge of Privileged Account Management (PAM) concepts and technologiesPhysical Job RequirementsPhysical demands may include standing, walking, and occasional lifting of moderate weight.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers competitive salary, versátil benefits package, and eligibility for a short‐term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
