About our ClientSeed-stage startup building the AI operating system for the supply chain.
They serve wholesale distributors and enterprise logistics companies worldwide, helping them plan smarter, react faster, and unlock margin trapped in operational complexity. This role is being created to support their path to becoming the general AI operating system for supply chain. The RoleThe CEO Office is being established as the company's internal strategy function, the team that shapes direction with the CEO, accelerates execution on what matters most, and brings outside-in intelligence to every decision.
The Strategy & Operations Manager is the first hire into this team. You will be embedded in the CEO Office: a direct working relationship with the CEO on strategic priorities, with the VP of Finance & Strategy as your line manager.
Together, you will evaluate, structure, and drive the strategic projects that will define the Company's next 18 months, from manufacturing automation use cases and freight forwarder response-time optimization, to a stablecoin-based payments rail for shippers, to board governance and organizational design. This is not a generalist chief-of-staff role and not a project coordination role.
It is a strategy and operations role with execution accountability, you build the business case, you stress-test the assumptions, you align the owners, you drive the work to a decision. What You Will OwnStrategic Project Evaluation & Business Case DesignBuild rigorous, decision‐grade business cases for every project that lands on the CEO Office desk, sizing, ROI modelling, resource requirements, sequencing, and risk.Design a repeatable framework to score and prioritize projects against the Company's strategic pillars (e.g., ARR impact, margin expansion, time‐to‐value, strategic optionality).
Bring structured, consulting‐grade thinking to ambiguous problems, break them down, frame the trade‐offs,
recommend a path.Project AccelerationDrive 2–4 cross‐functional strategic initiatives per quarter from kickoff to handover, working with functional leaders (Product, Tech, Commercial, Ops) without owning their day‐to‐day.Examples in the current pipeline: manufacturing OEE & production planning use cases, freight‐forwarder response‐time strategy, stablecoin payments rail, board & investor relations setup, organizational design for the next growth phase.Define clear scope, milestones, and exit criteria for each initiative, every project has a handover plan from day one.Board Readiness & Investor RelationsShape the board narrative, structure the board meeting format, and own the strategic storyline alongside the CEO and Head of Finance.Build the investor relations cadence, what gets shared, when, and in what format, including the Series A narrative as the Company's approaches that milestone.Strategic IntelligenceGenerate market sizing, competitive analysis, and decision‐support material for the CEO and leadership team.Translate external signals (industry shifts, competitor moves, regulatory changes) into clear implications for the Company's strategy.Organizational StrategySupport the CEO on org design questions, structure, headcount planning, role clarity, as the Company's scales beyond its current 34‐person team.Help define the operating model that lets the Company's deliver value to clients faster without adding proportional headcount.Who You AreRequired3–5 years of experience in management consulting (MBB, Big 4 strategy, or top boutique),
or equivalent combination of consulting + in‐house strategy at a high‐growth tech / B2B SaaS company.Experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing—through consulting engagements or operating roles.
You can ramp quickly into customer conversations (e.g. Head of Supply Chain).
Demonstrated ability to build business cases from scratch, financial modeling, market sizing, scenario analysis.
You can structure a problem on a blank slide and defend the logic in a board‐room conversation.Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
You write crisply and you can hold your own with senior leaders, investors, and customers.Operating‐mode flexibility: you can zoom out to strategy and zoom in to execution detail without losing fidelity at either end.Comfort with ambiguity.
The CEO Office is being built, you will help define what it does, not just execute against a fixed playbook.Strongly PreferredPrior work on fundraising materials, board decks, or investor diligence, Series A or beyond.Familiarity with payments, fintech, or stablecoin infrastructure (relevant for one of our priority projects).
Experience designing performance frameworks, KPI cascades, or organizational operating models.MindsetOwnership over coordination.
You don't just track work, you drive it to outcomes.Intellectual honesty.
You stress‐test your own analysis before someone else does.Pragmatic prioritization.
You instinctively ask 'what moves the needle most?' before 'what's most interesting?'Why This RoleDirect line to the CEO and the leadership team.First strategic hire into the CEO Office.
You shape the function, not inherit it.High‐leverage problem set: agentic operations, fintech rails, enterprise GTM, org scaling, Series A. Real strategic surface area, not slideware.Compensation: competitive base + equity participation, calibrated to seniority and stage.
