A Day in the LifeThe Privacy Specialist, Global Privacy Assessments supports Medtronic businesses in developing products, services, and solutions by providing expert privacy advice, performing Privacy Third Party Risk Assessments (TPRA), and working with the business to validate identified privacy issues and support remediation tracking.As a member of the Privacy Assessment team, the specialist focuses on delivering high‐quality, efficient TPRAs, works directly with the business, internal clients, and third parties to complete assessments, reviews third‐party privacy controls, and provides privacy consultations and support.
The specialist collaborates with Operating Units, Global and Regional Privacy Advisors to conduct and advise on all aspects of TPRAs.ResponsibilitiesConduct timely and high‐quality Third Party Risk Assessments, assessing privacy controls, determining relevant privacy requirements, and providing guidance and deliverables.Collaborate with Regional Privacy Partners, Legal,



and other business stakeholders and project owners to discuss privacy risk and remediation options.Support and contribute to process improvement and enhancement projects and initiatives.Effectively manage working relationships and pursue new working relationships at all levels of the organization.Lead by example to model a culture of ethics and integrity, exercise sound judgment and courage as a trusted partner for the business and the team.Required Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree with 2 years of privacy experience; or an advanced degree.Familiarity with privacy and data protection laws and standards (HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, LGPD, etc.).
Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Experience conducting privacy assessments.Experience with Risk Management platforms (OneTrust).
