ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the general accounting function, including inter‐company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, and financial analysis.Assist in closing monthly financial records for Brazil, partnering as needed to develop policies and procedures that ensure internal controls protect company assets.Conduct technical accounting GAAP research on various topics.Execute fixed asset routines, including depreciation calculations, classification of acquisitions and disposals, ensuring integration with the accounting system according to standards.Perform analyses and controls of the general ledger related to BRGAAP and USGAAP standards.Perform accounting integration of tax and payroll processes.Validate and design suggested changes to the general ledger system to ensure accounting requirements continue to be met.Participate in the external reporting process, creating footnotes and appropriate support, writing sections of Management's Discussion and Analysis,
and preparing supporting documentation for quarterly earnings release.Assist in creating and gathering support for both internal and external audits during periodic reviews of the company financial records.Develop ad hoc reports and other special assignments as needed.Handle multiple tasks while maintaining control and order.QualificationsBusiness degree in accounting with 3–5 years of combined Public Accounting and/or multinational business experience.Knowledge of US GAAP and BRGAAP (IFRS), internal controls and financial reporting.Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.Detail‐oriented and organized.Maintain high level of trust, confidentiality, and professionalism.Proficient with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
